Pebble started as a Kickstarter project, a personal watch but have amazing features that makes it one of the best tech gifts for 2013.

Actually pebble is smart because it have many capabilities that are similar to a smart phone, like:-

Pebble also uses the e-paper technology, so it can be read day and night easily, it is also provided with back light, so it is easily readable at night, it is water-proof as well, and you can also change its straps, and its background image by choosing from many images available on the web.

The most amazing feature in Pebble in my option is the huge collection of available faces it provides for free ( To know what does the term face mean, have a lot on pebble's website it is wonderful), it also connects to your phone via Bluetooth, so it can integrate with it providing some very useful features like showing the caller number.

Pebble also comes in three designs: Arctic white,Jet black and cherry red.

This is not all, pebble also provides some useful applications all the time, it runs on android so a huge variety of applications may be developed for it, even by the inventors or by the Android community, one of them is an application that calculates the distance you ran today and other information related to it.

Finally, this amazing new invention - as i mentioned earlier- was totally funded via the Kickstarter platform, that is based upon public funding principle, it was funded over 1 million dollars only in 28 hours, so i expect it to make a good success in the market, 85.000 kickstarter members paid the total fund that was required.
