Smart bike lock, your bike is safe alone!

We previously introduced some systems for home automation and security like piper home automation and security system, today we introduce this really cool invention Lock8.

Lock8 is a new invention for your bike, simply it is an ordinary cable lock, but with the amazing taste of technology.

Lock8 make a lot of noise when someone tries to cut the cable, it uses a smart way to know if someone is trying to cut. A weak electrical signal is traveling through the cable, so when this signal stops it knows that the cable is being cut.

Lock8 is provided with an SIM, so in case of the cable is being cut, it sends you a push notification, enabling you to save your bike.

Lock8 has a smartphone app which is used to enable you unlock your bike, so you can unlock it for some friend to ride even if you aren't there.

Lock8 started as a KickStarter project, the inventors provides us with two useful figures it think they are informative.
